Our brains seek to control everything we do and seek answers in all that is mysterious.  Thanks to Science we can, for the most part, give our brains some answers to profound tools and methods used for many centuries that will assure our brains that we are safe, even when we know in our hearts what feels right.

For many thousands of years we have groomed our brains  for survival and we are always on the alert for a fight or flight situation meaning that we have distanced ourselves from our heart based wisdom, ie what feels right, that inner voice that tells you which direction to follow, not the direction you think you should follow.

As Steve Jobs said:
